MASERATI

Check Engine is here to help you find your way among the dozens of sports models that the Italian manufacturer Maserati offers or has offered since 1914.

We also invite you to discover a page in the history of Maserati, as well as its Italian factories in Modena.

FACTORY

The Viale Ciro Menotti plant has been the headquarters and symbol of Maserati worldwide since 1940.

The original red brick building is the nucleus around which a plant has sprung up that, after being restructured in 1998, represents a unique synthesis of tradition, technological refinement and highly advanced production techniques.
The complex, which by the end of the second expansion plan (2001) will occupy 51,000 square metres (of which 30,000 covered) with a production capacity of 5,000 cars per year, represents one of the most important investments in Maserati’s development plan.

The management offices and the Maserati showroom occupy a large building opposite the red brick hangars, which have stood the test of time.
The production lines have been modernised from top to bottom to guarantee the highest levels of quality and production. Maserati has two twenty-six-shift production lines for the Quattroporte and GranTurismo. The pavilions, where the test benches used for running in and testing engines and vehicles are located, are also characterised by modernity.

The racing division of the Modena-based firm is located on the Viale delle Nazioni, 6 km away. The same applies to the Experiments division, where the road cars are developed.
