The Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) is a robotised dual-clutch gearbox produced by ZF. It is equipped with a manual gearshift and combines the best of automatic and manual transmissions. It is an ideal solution for sports cars because it offers exceptional dynamics and instant gear changes (up to 100 ms). The change is made with almost no interruption of power.
