AMT & DCT ROBOTISED GEARBOXES

Whatever the brand: PDK for Porsche, S Tronic for Audi RS, DCT for Mercedes AMG, SMG I or II & DKG for BMW M, F1 or F1 DCT for Ferrari, ZF for Maserati and finally ISR for Lamborghini, their design is hardly any different and our teams will always find the technical solution to save you an expensive replacement!

These types of gearbox often fail due to jerking or being put into a safe position, but grunting noises on odd gears are also common.

LAMBORGHINI

This ISR (Independent Shiftin Rod), manufactured by Oerlikon Graziano, is not a double-clutch as expected, but an ultra-light and fast version of the ‘simple’ robotised gearbox. Gears are still selected manually, but the efficiency of the gearbox is better than that offered by the competition, which generally has two clutches. The ISR is reserved for the Aventador, the DCT version of the Huracan called LDF is more conventional, and the E Gear on the Gallardo is a single-clutch robotised gearbox.
